Founded in 1884, Temple College became Temple University in 1907. A comprehensive public research university, Temple offers more than 300 academic degree programs at eight campuses. Its degree programs include: 2 Associate degree programs (Horticulture and General Studies), 125 Bachelor’s programs, 113 Masters programs, 52 Doctoral programs, and 8 first-professional degree programs including dentistry, law, medicine, pharmacy, and podiatric medicine.

Temple’s Main Campus, located on North Broad Street, is home to many of its schools and programs. A recent addition to this campus is the Tyler School of Art, which recently moved from Elkins Park, PA. Undergraduate, graduate, and non-credit courses are also available at 1515 Market Street in Philadelphia, its Center City Campus.

Programs in community and regional planning, horticulture, landscape architecture, and other subject areas are available at Temple University’s 186-acre Ambler Campus. Temple also offers graduate and non-credit courses at its campus in suburban Fort Washington, PA.

International studies are an integral part of the Temple experience. Study abroad programs are available at campuses in Rome and Tokyo. Select programs are also offered in London, Beijing, Paris, Mumbai, and other sites.
